On 18 May 2026, the President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, received and met with leaders and representatives of the banking and financial sector, which serves as a vital pillar of the country’s economy.
On this occasion, marking the 102nd anniversary of the establishment and development of the banking and financial sector in Mongolia, Mr. Banzragch O., First Deputy CEO of Trade and Development Bank, was honored with the prestigious title of Honored Economist of Mongolia, one of the highest state honors.
In addition, Mr. Orgil B., Head of the Corporate Banking Department, was awarded the Polar Star Order, while Mr. Bayarsaikhan O., Head of International Banking Department, received the Medal of Honor for labor.
