On November 26, 2025, Trade and Development Bank (TDB) represented Mongolia at the 12th Mongolia–Japan Public-Private Partnership Consultative Meeting and the “Mongolia Day” Economic Forum held in Tokyo, delivering a keynote presentation.
These annual events aim to strengthen cooperation between Mongolia and Japan. This year, 20–30 organizations and enterprises from both countries participated, exchanging views on economic partnership, business environment development, and future collaboration opportunities.

During the forum, TDB showcased its innovative financial solutions driven by digital transformation, including technology-based products and services, applications of artificial intelligence, and sustainable financing projects. The Bank also shared valuable insights on the growth and development of Mongolia’s banking sector with Japanese government representatives, financial institutions, and major investors.
TDB is the only Mongolian bank with a representative office in Tokyo, operating continuously for 11 years. This long-standing presence has played a vital role in fostering trust and strengthening long-term partnerships with Japanese organizations, while serving as a bridge for bilateral agreements, financial services, and business projects between the two countries.
Looking ahead, TDB reaffirmed its commitment to actively support trade, business, and investment cooperation between Mongolia and Japan through its Tokyo representative office and to initiate new projects that further enhance bilateral economic ties.
