Starting in 2022, commercial banks with significant influence in Mongolia's banking and financial sector have been working together to reduce their ATM transaction cost. As part of this cooperation, in 2023, Golomt Bank, Trade and Development Bank, State Bank, and Capitron Banks reduced the transaction cost for cash withdrawals at devices (ATM, CDM, CRM) from 500 MNT to 100 MNT.
This time, Bogd Bank joined our collaboration and signed ‘memorandum of understanding’.
Customers of the above commercial banks will pay 100 MNT when withdrawing cash from more than 1000 devices (ATM, CDM, CRM), which is located all over the country. The transaction cost reduction reform has been successfully completed in the core systems of these five banks and has been implemented starting today.
We will continue to improving the quality and accessibility of interbank services and aim to expand our cooperation.
