To mark the historic occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the French Republic, Trade and Development Bank (TDB), under the auspices of the Embassy of France, is organizing the Mongolia-France Business Forum in cooperation with BPIFRANCE. The forum aims to deepen cooperation between the financial institutions of the two countries.
This forum, dedicated to TDB’s clients, coincides with a period of dynamic growth in bilateral relations, expanding foreign trade, and the implementation of major projects. It serves as an important bridge to elevate economic cooperation to a new level and connect entrepreneurs from both nations.
TDB initiated its partnership with Bpifrance in 2024 by signing a strategic Memorandum of Understanding. During the French Business Forum, the two banks signed a trade finance agreement, further expanding their collaboration.
As Mongolia’s first commercial bank, TDB works with around 300 international banks and financial institutions to provide leading Mongolian enterprises with fast and favorable trade finance services. TDB currently handles over 40% of international trade finance and foreign payments, and 65% of trade finance in Mongolia. By signing this agreement with France’s development bank, TDB has further strengthened its leading position in the sector.
