In recognition of World Autism Awareness Month, Trade and Development Bank (TDB) has fully equipped a special education classroom for children with autism at the “Developmental Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities.”
This initiative is part of TDB’s ongoing “Limitless Dreams” project, which has been implemented since 2018.
Since 2024, the project has placed special focus on creating inclusive and comfortable learning environments for children with autism by renovating and furnishing kindergartens and schools tailored to their needs. This latest classroom features Mongolia’s first and only Sensory Room — a milestone in special education. The room is equipped with specialized tools and materials sourced from the United Kingdom, designed to support the sensory and developmental needs of children with autism.
The new learning space will help children improve their communication skills and social interaction, contributing significantly to their personal growth and integration.
To date, the project has directly contributed to the education of approximately 200,000 students and 10,000 teachers across 60 schools and kindergartens. TDB remains committed to supporting the future of Mongolia’s youth by creating opportunities for learning and development through socially responsible initiatives.
