‘TDB Skill Lab’ AI internal training program launched

12 December 2025

The Trade and Development Bank (TDB) has officially introduced its new internal training platform, “TDB Skill Lab”, designed to build employees’ competencies in using artificial intelligence, on December 8. At the opening, TDB emphasized that its digital transformation strategy does not seek to replace employees with artificial intelligence; rather, it aims to use this transition to enhance the skills of its workforce through the “TDB Skill Lab” training platform.

The CEO of the TDB, O.Orkhon stated, “Artificial intelligence is not something that will emerge in the future, rather it has already become an integral part of our lives. This is not about replacing you; it is about expanding what you are capable of doing. Instead of fearing the question ‘Will AI take our job?’, we should focus on whether you are ready to lead this change. TDB Skill Lab is an investment in the skills that will shape your career over the next decade.”

The “TDB Skill Lab” internal training platform is designed to increase work productivity and includes a comprehensive curriculum ranging from foundational AI courses to advanced professional modules. Currently, TDB’s software developers have increased their coding speed by 40 percent by leveraging artificial intelligence. Additionally, if every TDB employee spends at least one hour per month learning on the platform, they will gain sufficient skills to effectively use AI in their work.

TDB reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to support economic growth through advanced technology and a highly skilled workforce.
