Collection service TDB offers you the collection services of one of the foreign trade payment facilities. Our collection services will mediate your payments quickly and reliably to wherever in the world your trade partner is based.
If you know your trade partner well and maintain a reliable relationship, and the political, economic and legal environments of the importer’s country are considered stable, and if the buyer’s country has not set any restrictions on the import, then collection is the most appropriate way to settle payments.
Foreign trade collection services are easier and cheaper than the letter of credit.
If you are the Seller we send the documents to the Buyer and claim for the payments.
If you are the Buyer we deliver the documents of the shipped goods to you and promptly arrange the payments.

- Low cost.
- If the Buyer refuses to make payment, the Seller’s bank can assist in arranging the return of goods.
Benefits for the Buyer
- Can hold onto payment until the goods arrive in his country or defer the payments on the basis of a mutual agreement.
- In some cases it becomes trade financing.
Note:
When you as the seller/exporter are the first to make a proposal to use the collection services, you need to be aware that any possible risk of payment shall be exposed to you, and the bank does not provide any guarantee that the payments will be made for the goods shipped by you.
