TDB Mongolia has supported the third phase of the initiative by JCI Mongolia called "SAVE LIFE" which aims to reduce the infant mortality as part of SDG 17 of United Nation. It is our effort to seek solutions to the key social issues in Mongolia.
In the third phase of the project, an extension section made for infant surgical intensive care unit of National Maternal and Child Healthcare Center and handed over equipment, which are fitted with an international standards. In the opening ceremony, Orkhon O CEO of TDB announced that TDB would continually support “SAVE LIFE” project as well as express gratitude and wish the high achievement to members of the project.
"SAVE LIFE" Project II in 2017, TDB made specialized surgical room and donated to the comprehensive surgical instruments for infants. As a result, recovery after surgery increased by 10%, from 72.2% to 82.2% which means in the last year the project saved 20 infant’s life. We are pleased to announce that TDB will continually conduct and support many projects and activities purposed health and education issues of young generation.
